Studying on marginal preference of consumption（MPC） is very important for formulating economic policy,regulating economic structure and promoting economic growth.The author believes that MPC is the microcosmic base of economic growth.This study analyzes the present situation,studies the cause of MPC decline,and indicates the impact of MPC decline on economic growth.Some policy suggestions are proposed for promoting the MPC in China.
