The paper applies DEA to measure Malmquist index, and on this basis, uses VAR model to study the technology spillover effect of producer service import trade in Shanghai. It finds that Shanghai has mainly demonstrated a slight and long-term promotion effect of producer service import trade on pure technology efficiency, and it also indicates that producer service import trade enhances regional technology progress in Shanghai. Therefore, we should insist on the direction to speed up producer service import trade to improve technology.
