The paper undertakes a series of numeric simulation test with the Discrete Element Method ( DEM), simulates various parameter of rock fall hazardous mass including internal friction, buffer length, and diameter of cylindrical structures on the circular structures in its sliding a- long sliding ways and before the slope bottoms, displays the collapsing movement and accumulation process, and reveals the impact mechanism of the collapse on surrounding engineering structures, provide some theoretic support for the prevention and prediction of the fall hazardous areas.
