This paper presents a review on the past and recent development of Space Syntax.To answer some basic contemporary urban questions,future work should focus more on the part of theory.This paper suggests regional scale spatial analysis and social network analysis will be the emphasis of future research.A theoretical framework and some suggestions are provided for studying the relationship between urban space and innovation.
