The time path of China’s electricity consumption（EC）is analyzed with LM root-test.The results indicate that EC is a trend stationary process with two structural break points and has＂short memory＂to random shocks.These viewpoints have the certain important enlightenment function for proving effectiveness of relative energy policy,economic development strategies and measures.
