The structure of flame which is affected by different internal diameter and different radiating condition was studied experimentally. It was found that the change of the length of the ceramic tube exposed in the air affect the structure of the flame. When the flow was fixed, the height of flame increased when the length exposed was decreased. The study of the small jet diffusion flame of alcohol in the electric field indicate that the positive electric field compress the flame, the electric-field intensity between some ranges causes more emission carbon; However, the negative electric field draw the flame out, but strong electric field will narrow the flame.
