In this paper,we consider the differences between Quatemion matrices and matrices over field with respect to the eigenvalue of a matrix, the inverse of a matrix, the rank of a matrix, the trace of a matrix, and so on. At the same time, we give a sufficient condition when the left eigenvalues and the right eigenvalues of a quatemion matrix are equal.
