以江苏省银杏古树为对象,通过实地调查和查阅资料,结果表明:江苏省有银杏古树11858株,分布在13个市,64个县(市、区)和130个乡(镇)。其中632株具生长指标,雌株占74.65%。树高最大为40.0m,最小为7.0m;树龄最长为2000a;胸径最大为3.03m,最小仅为0.18m;平均冠幅最大为32.0m,最小为0.8m。垂乳银杏有16株,单株垂乳个数最多为57个,垂乳最长达2.18m,基径最粗达0.30m;复干银杏有17株,单株复干数最多为12株,复干胸径最大为0.9m,最高达18.0m。集中分布的古银杏株数超过10株则视为1个群落,江苏典型的古银杏群落有10个。群落平均树龄最大为300a,最小为100a;平均胸径最大为0.64m,最小为0.35m;平均树高最大为17.0m,最小为11.5In;平均冠幅最大为9.5m×9.6m,最小为6.0m×6.4m。

By means of the field survey and materials consulting on the ancient ginkgo trees in Jiangsu Province, the resources of ancient ginkgo trees in Jiangsu Province were researched. The results showed that 11 858 ancient ginkgo trees distributed in 13 cities, 64 counties and 130 villages and towns. Among which, 632 anciently viable ginkgo trees were female trees, which accounted for 74.65%. The highest tree was 40.0 m, while the lowest was 7.0 m. The oldest age was already 2000 years. The maximum DBH was 3.03 m while the minimum was merely 0.18 m. The maximum average crown was 32.0 m while the minimum was 0.8 m. 16 ginkgo trees with chichi were available, of which the maximum number of single chichi was 57. The maximum length of chichi was 2.18m and the maximum diameter was O. 3m. 17 multi-trunked ginkgoes were available, of which the maximum number of multi-trunks was 12. The DBH of the maximum multi-trunk was 0.9 m and the height was 18.0 m. More than ten ancient ginkgo trees densely distributed could be regarded as a group. 10 typical ancient ginkgo trees groups were presented in Jiangsu. The maximum average age of these groups was 300 a, while the minimum was 100 a. The maximum average DBH was 0.64 m, while the minimum was 0.35 m. The maximum average height was 17.0 m while the minimum was 11.5 m. The maximum average crown was 9.5 m x9.6 m while the minimum was 6.0 mx6.4 m.
