Based on the investigation of the present traffic safety situation of bridges in Chongqing City,this paper analyses the characteristics of the traffic safety of bridges in the mountain city,puts forward some reform ideas for the traffic problems and presents the corresponding countermeasures to the existing potential safety hazards in the bridges,which will offer a good guidance for the treatment of potential traffic hazards in Chongqing bridges and some reference for the safety design and management of mountain road bridges.
