开展了基于一种新型掺铒光纤的抗辐照EDFA研究。通过与单模光纤和普通掺铒光纤的辐照对比,得出该型光纤的无源传输辐照衰减率为3.24×10-3d B/(krad·m),比普通掺铒光纤的辐照耐受能力高出30.6%。对比了EDFA中各关键器件的辐照敏感特性。基于该新型光纤搭建的EDFA在70krad(Si)的辐照剂量照射下增益下降0.35d B。
A study on radiation-hard EDFA based on a novel erbium-doped fiber was carried out. The experimental results show that the passive-transmission decay rate of the optical fiber under radiation environment is 3.24 ×10^-3 dB/ (krad.m), which is 30.6% larger than that of the conventional erbium-doped fibers. The radia- tion sensitivity properties of the key devices in EDFA was compared. The EDFA based on the proposed novel fiber structure exhibits a limited decrease by 0.35dB up to total dose of 70krad (Si) under the 60Co radiation.
