通过对单模光纤、掺铒光纤和铒镱共掺光纤的三种样品分别进行钴源、电子加速器辐照实验,研究了它们在不同辐照源下的辐照损伤特性。对比分析了两种辐照源对于光纤的损伤机理,并发现实验中使用的稀土光纤在两种辐照源下的损伤具有一定的等效规律。
This paper investigates radiation damage characteristics of three kinds of optical fiber, including single mode fiber, erbium-doped fiber and Er/Yb co-doped fiber, using both Cobalt source and electron accel- erator. By comparing and analyzing the damage mechanism of two kinds of radiation source to optical fibers, it is found that the damage of the rare earth fibers used in the experiment has certain equivalent rule under the two kinds of radiation source.
