Based on the Shaoxing（绍兴） Wu（吴） dialect, this article argued the syllabification and de-syllabification of nasals in Chinese dialects. After presenting the syllabification and de-syllabification of nasals in Shaoxing（绍兴） Wu（吴）, this article discussed the mechanism and motivation of de-syllabification of nasals. The final chapter explained the research significance.
