The premise of internal waves＇ experiments or other experiments in stratified fluid is preparation of density-stratified fluid.There is a limit in conventional ＂double-tank＂ method which can only prepare uniformly density stratified fluid.This paper improves the ＂double-tank＂ method,derive the equation and the numerical method,so that the fluid with arbitrarily density profile can be made.The feasibility of this method is tested by oscillating cylinder experiments.
