To recover a highly oxidized and slimed zinc oxide ore with low content of zinc from Sichuan Province,a technological flowsheet was introduced consisting of preferential flotation of zinc sulfide,desliming by tabling and sulfuration flotation of zinc oxide.From a run-of-mine ore with a zinc grade of 1.45%,a zinc sulfide concentrate with zinc grade and recovery of 38.42% and 32.63%,respectively,and a zinc oxide concentrate with zinc grade and recovery of 31.24% and 35.73%,respectively,were prepared,and the total zinc grade and recovery were 34.30% and 68.36%,resulting in good separation index.
