包钢尾矿坝中含有大量稀土的尾矿在风的作用下扬起并沉降在下风位一定区域内,必然造成土壤外源稀土的累积。为了探求尾矿坝对下风位土壤生态系统的影响,采用ICP-MS法测定了尾矿坝东南一定区域内土壤中的稀土含量。结果显示,尾矿坝下风位8km-10km范围内土壤稀土累积明显,混合稀土及La、Ce、Nd和Pr的含量均高于我国地带性主要土类的平均含量;距离尾矿坝越近累积越严重,外源稀土主要来源于尾矿坝;稀土元素分布模式为轻稀土富集型,Eu表现为负异常,不同样地稀土元素的分馏程度差异明显。研究区土壤外源稀土的累积必然带来土壤生态系统的变化和无法预料的生态风险,甚至通过食物链威胁周边居民的健康,应当采取有效措施进行预防与修复。
The Tailings Dam of Baotou Iron & Steel (Group) Company(TDBIS) is the special ground to store the taihngs that contain a plenty of REEs. The railings would be raised and sedimentated in the leeward by the blowing of west - north wind that is the most frequent in Baotou region, which may cause the accumulation of rare earths in soil. We test the content of rare earths in soil on the southeast area of TDBIS by ICP - MS to research the effect of TDBIS to exogenous rare earths m soil in the leeward. The results show that the exogenous rare earths in soil accumulated obviously in the scope of 8km - 10km, the total content of rare earths and the contents of La, Ce, Nd, Pr are all higher than the average content of main zone soil type in China. The distance from TDBIS is more near and the accumulation of rare earths is more serious, so we conclude that the exogenous rare earths in soil mainly come from TDBIS. The distribution patterns of rare earth in soil is light rare earth enrichment, and Eu is negative unconventionality. The fracfionafion extent of various samples is different, it is likely to attribute to the characteristics of soil, the enrichment of rare earths of plant and the field management. The accumulation of exogenous rare earths in soil in this area must cause the change of soil surroundings, soil fertility and the soil ecosystem, and the ecological venture, so as to affect the health of resident. We should adopt some measures to prevent and repair the soil pollution.
