Objective To quickly purify tao protein and produce multiclonal antibody of tau protein. Methods Human recombinant tau protein in vitro was purified by using differential centrifugation, heat inactivation and ion exchange chromatography. The rabbits were immunized with the purified tau protein to produce multiclonal antibody. The titers and specificity of the antibody were detected by using Western blot. Results The human full-length tau protein, tau40, was obtained. The multiclonal tau antibody was yielded with high titer and specificity. Conclusion The tau multiclonal antibodies obtained have high titers and specificity.
