Potato was one of the important food crops, vegetables and industrial raw materials. In recent years, potato early blight had become obstacle of potato industry in main potato producing regions of China. Occurrence and damage, pathogens, disease cycle of potato early blight, mycotoxin produced by the pathogen Alternaria solani and its control methods were reviewed in this paper.
