QIN Zhi-guang （秦志光） was born in Longchang, SichuanProvince, China, 1956. He is doctoral advisor of the School of the Computer Science and Engineering, UESTC. superintendent of the Institute of Computer Network and Security Technology of UESTC, director of IBM Technology Center of UESTC, director of the Key Lab of New Computer Applied Technology, member of 1EEE, expert of National Information Security Base. His major researching fields are Computer Open System, Network Security, Information System Security, ITS and E-commerce.
