The concept of＂new occupation farmer＂has been involved in the educational circles and the government in recent years.But for the understanding of its concept and form groups,academia is not consistent.From historical evolution of China＇s＂occupation farmer＂,this paper analyzes the realistic background of our country＂new occupation farmer＂concept currently,and clarifies its population and population characteristics.On this basis,realistic dilemma and restrictive factors will be analyzed indepth which China＇s farmers face from the ＂identity peasant＂to ＂new occupation farmer＂,in order to provide some beneficial thoughts on the cultivation of new occupation farmers in the current.
