采用两种不同的任务类型对熟练维汉双语者跨语言掩蔽翻译启动效应进行考察,结果发现,在词汇决定任务中,熟练维汉双语者在L1-L2和L2-L1两个方向上均表现出了掩蔽翻译启动效应,但L1-L2方向远大于L2-L1方向,即掩蔽翻译启动效应具有不对称性。而在语义分类任务中,熟练维汉双语者在两个方向上表现出的翻译启动效应量相近,具有对称性。结果支持Kroll的修正层级模型。
Currently,in the field of cognitive research on bilingualism, it has reached a consensus on the separation lexical representation and the shared conceptual representation of bilingnals. The research focused on the degree of shared conceptual representation. The a- symmetry of cross - language priming effect reflects the shared degree of conceptual representation. Numerous studies show that masked translation priming effect in the direction of L1 - L2 is stronger than L2 - L1, which is called asymmetry of cross - language. This asym- metry is claimed to he task dependent based on existing studies. In the lexical decision tasks, asymmetry of masked translation priming effect comes upon while in the semantic categorization tasks, the asymmetry disappear. The whole experiment includes two parts. The first part studies the cross - language of masked translation priming effect of the Chinese - Uygur bilinguals in lexical decision task, the participants are required to tell the real words in the screen. The second part aimed at semantic categorization task,the participants are required to judge whether the words presented are biological words or part of the organism. To analyze the data,the reaction time of the target words are counted only and extreme statistics which is more than 3 standard deviation is removed. SPSS shows a clear result by variance analysis of the reaction time and the accuracy of the experimental data. The results show that for skilled bilinguals, masked translation priming is asymmetry in the lexical decision task, the priming effect is much stronger in the direction of L1 - L2. In the se- mantic categorization task, masked translation priming effect is symmetry, the priming volume is close in the direction of L1 - L2and L2 - L1. The experimental results support the revised hierarchical model of Kroll.
