利用扩展的三变量Oregonatar模型,得到了自发形成的多臂螺旋波。结果发现多臂螺旋波的产生源于系统的短波不稳定性。系统的短波模形成了周期性振荡的空间结构,它们之间相互作用从而产生了不同臂数的螺旋波结构。还得到了双臂螺旋波和三臂螺旋波的中心动力学过程。
Multi-armed spiral waves can form spontaneously in the extended Oregonatar model. It is found that the formation mechanism of multi-armed spiral waves is attributed to short wave instability of the system. Oscillatory spatial structures coming from the short wave modes interact each other and give rise to spiral waves with different arms. Furthermore, the core dynamics of the double-armed spiral waves and three-armed spiral waves have also been observed.
