There are mainly two kinds of resources and three kinds of functions for English learning on smart-phone. The resour-ces majorly include the network resources that are based on international internet and campus network, and the offline resources such as the self-carried or installed software, and the downloaded learning materials. By applying smart-phone in English learning students can learn whenever and wherever, communicate and exchange with classmates and teachers, promote the interest and im-prove the learning effect. By guiding learner to know and use the resources and functions on smart-phone for English leaning, tea-chers can help them to learn more effectively, and develop the dimensions and methods of research.
