The asymptotic waveform evaluation technique is an efficient method for analyzing wide-band electromagnetic scattering. In this paper, the asymptotic waveform evaluation technique is applied into the method of moments to calculate the radar＇s scattering cross section of two-dimensional random distributed perfect conducting objects. The numerical results are in good agreement with those obtained by the method of moments at each frequency. In addition the calculating efficiency is improved greatly.
