英文摘要：

This paper re-measures the intensity of intellectual property protection in China, and by using the 1994--2012 time se- ries data, performs cointegration test and impulse response function analysis on the dynamic relationship between China＇s intellectual property protection and its economic growth. The findings are as follows： there is a long-term stable and dynamic equilibrium relation- ship between China＇s intellectual property protection and its economic growth; overall, the net effect of China＇s intellectual property pro- tection on its economic growth is negative; separately, the net contributions of the intellectual property legislation and its enforcement to China＇s economic growth are also negative, but both have demonstrated slight yet prolonged positive effect on China＇s economic growth.
