A series of Au catalysts supported on Ga-modified TS-1 were prepared and tested for direct propylene epoxidation in the presence of hydrogen and oxygen. The effect of Ga contents on the structure and catalytic properties of these catalysts were investigated. X-ray diffraction ( XRD ) results showed that Ga ions were incorporated in the structure of TS-1. The Ga-modification promoted C3H6 conversion from 1.8% to 2.7% and PO selectivity from 86.2% to 91.9%, which seemed due to the fine dispersion of Au particles for Ga incorpo- ration resulted from the change of the microstructure of the TS-1 Support.
