Gene therapy is becoming an effective mean of cancer treatment,and the carrier carrying exogenous gene has played an important role in tumor gene therapy. Adenovirus vector has many advantages,such as a wide range of hosts,high infection rate,easier to prepare and won＇ t be integrated into infected cells. Therefore,it has become the most widely used gene-carrier system. Adding anti-cancer gene into tumor-specific proliferation virus,banding together the advantages of gene therapy and virus therapy,known as gene-virotherapy,has an advantage of targeted killing of tumor cells while protecting normal cells from serious injury.
