Chishui River is an important mainstay of the South Silk Route in historical period;Chishui River became an important military channelbetween Bashu and southwest ethnic minorities region when Tang Mengmarched through it in the Western Han Dynasty. Chishui Riverhecomes an economic channelbetween Bashu and southwest ethnic minorities region which is used to spread advanced culture in the eastern Han dynasty.At the end of the western Jin dynastyLee occupy bashuand lead the liao living there, Chishui River became an Ethnic Gallery between Bashu and southwest ethnic minorities region at that time;In the early stage of Tang and Song dynasty,the drainage basin of Chishui River＇ economy and culture continued to develop and left a large number of relics. Due to the needs of defense Mongolia, Chishui River is mainly served as a military channel. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with the setting of the Guizhou province, the promoting of bureaucratization of native officers and the National resource allocation such as Sichuan salt transported into Guizhou,the transportation of nanmu ,the transportation of Guizhou plum-bum, the drainage basin of Chishui River＇ s economic functions was increasingly prominent.However, the significance of its military channel compared to the important role of the economic channel is inferior.Nowadays, under the strategic coordination of ＂One Belt and One Road＂,It is of great significance to study the attributes and values of the Chishui River in the South Silk Route during the historical period. It is of great meaning for the Chishui River to continue to play the pillar role of the South Silk Route. It can bring the great relic welfare of the South Silk Route to the drainage basin of Chishui River＇ s regional and social development.
