如何突破资源环境的双重约束是推动以人为本的新型城镇化质量提升的当务之急。本文基于2001-2012年中国30个省会城市的面板数据,将衡量城镇居民生活水平的恩格尔系数和衡量生态环境的城市建成区绿化覆盖率作为反映城镇化质量的指标,利用静态和动态面板计量回归模型实证研究了城市人口密度、产业结构对城镇化质量的影响。研究结果表明:总体上城市人口密度与城镇居民恩格尔系数呈现“U”型关系;城镇化质量内生于地区产业结构;市场化改革对城市生态环境的影响显著为正。
How to break through the dual constraints of resources and environment is a pressing matter to improve the quality of people - oriented new urbanization. Based on the data from 2001 to 2012 in China's 30 provincial capital cit- ies, this paper analyzes the impact of density of population and industrial structure on the quality of urbanization with static and dynamic panel data regression models by taking the Engel Coefficient to measure the urban residents' living standard and the built - up area greening coverage rate to measure the ecological environment as the indices reflecting quality of urbanization. The results show that, overall, it presents "U" type relationship between city density of population and Engel Coefficient of urban residents; the quality of urbanization is born in the regional industrial structure; the market reform has significantly positive impact on the cities' ecological environment.
