Since the reform and opening policy of China, great changes have taken place in the social stratum structure in the country. The college students＇ thoughts were influenced by social stratum differentiation, which has brought great challenge to ideological and political education in colleges. Therefore, ideological and political education in colleges should stick to the guidance of Marxism, to strengthen the education of college students＇ mainstream ideology; to teach students about the ＂ China Dream＂; to help students build lofty ideal and belief.Meanwhile, with aims of building correct values and the healthy growth of students, the college students should be taught about socialist core values to strengthen the living ideological and political education.
