日月食计算是中国古代历法中的核心内容，其算法思想体现了中国数理天文学的特色，历来受到科学史家的高度关注。科学史家从现代天文学的视角出发考察中国古代交食理论始于20世纪40年代。半个多世纪以来，科学史家对中国古代交食理论的基本思想、算法模型与计算精度等各方面展开了深入研究，并取得了丰硕的成果。文章综述了20世纪40年代以来国内外学者对中国古代交食理论的研究进展，并指出了交食理论研究领域一些需要继续深入研究的问题。

英文摘要：

The method for calculating the solar and lunar eclipse is the core content of Chinese calendars, the thought of which embodies the feature of Chinese mathematical astronomy. Scholars pay great attention to the meth- od for calculating the solar and lunar eclipse. In the 1940s, some scholars began to study eclipse theory of ancient Chinese mathematical astronomy from the point of view of modem astronomy. From then on, scholars have studied the basic thought, algorithm model and calculation accuracy of ancient Chinese eclipse theory and achieved great success in this field. This paper summarizes the research status of ancient Chinese eclipse theory from three aspects and also puts forward some problems to be solved in the future.
