On the basis of literatures, the research significance of the organic pollutants in snow and ice was discussed. The origin , distribution, migration and transformation of the organic pollutants in snow and ice were in-troduced respectively. It is showed that the organic pollutants , which exist in snow and ice , influence the properties of the snow and ice and possibly become the second environmental pollution sources.
