As a national district, Lanzhou New District not only gets great opportunities of development, but also carries the responsibility of leading the development and prosperity of local industry and economy. In the construction and devel- opment of Lanzhou New District, whether the capital requirements can be meet or not is an important factor which affects the sustainable development of the industry. This paper explores the present situation of capital requirement and financing mode in Lanzhou New District and analyses the problems and weaknesses existing in the current financing mechanism with the aim of exploring new financing mode and mechanisms, and putting forward the corresponding suggestions for the rapid development of industry of Lanzhou New District.
