The survey of national geographic condition is a major project to comprehensively understand and deeply know about the condition and power of one country. As the root of national geographic condition survey, the basic data provides much important information on how to evaluate and enhance the strength of the nation. This paper mainly describes the rules and problems and the process of the acquisition of the fundamental data in national geographic condition survey, then put forward the cases encountered in the process and the corresponding solutions.
