Tourism and leisure agriculture is a new cross-industry of agriculture and tourism, and its main development area are urban fringes. Taking Kunming for example, Based on the analysis of present situation and the main problems of tourism and leisure agriculture in Kunming urban fringes, four development models are put forward： folk cultural tourism in villages, comprehensive demonstration zones of modern agriculture, display of characteristic industry and resources dependent tourism. The properties of different models were analysed to explore the path of their development.
