资源共享和协同是制造企业，尤其是模具制造企业在国际市场保存竞争和取得竞争优势的关键。在传统的工程设计管理中，由于缺乏统一的数据平台，使文档管理混乱，不能及时得到设计变更通知，而且对图纸和工程变更的审批流程难以进行有效的实时监控，更不能保留数据变化的历史记录。本系统实现在分布式环境中群体活动的信息交换与共享并对设计过程进行动态调整和监控，支持多功能团队的协同工作，以及在统一信息平台下实现不同历史时期和不同的需求而发展起来的独立信息系统或应用工具的集成，实现了工作流的集中控制和工作流任务的分布处理。
英文摘要：
Resources sharing and collaboration is the key opportunity for the manufacturing enterprises, especially mould ＆ die enterprises, to remain competitive and compete successfully in the global market. In the traditional design management, the documents management is in a mess and the modified design can＇ t be noticed for the lack of a uniform data management platform. The system in this paper supports multi-team collaborative work in a distributed environment and realizes the workflow central control and distributed disposal of the workflow tasks.
