高压直流断路器的成功研制是直流多端输电系统和直流电网发展的关键。目前高压直流断路器的发展方兴未艾,但开断的短路电流值仍然有限,笔者提出了一种基于超导限流技术的高压直流断路器,可以极大提高短路电流的开断能力。该直流断路器由直流超导限流模块和开断模块组成,文中的研究内容为超导限流模块的快速限流特性、电流转移特性、大电流耐受特性。实验结果表明,超导限流模块具有快速的限流特性,在1 ms内即开始限流,能将几十千安培甚至上百千安培的短路电流限制在几千安培,施加磁场后的超导限流模块具有宽电流限制能力。所提出的直流断路器将超导限流技术和直流开断技术有效结合,具有反应迅速,开断电流大,可用于高电压场合的优势,是一种有发展前途的高压直流断路器。
The success of high-vohage DC circuit breakers (HVDC CB) will be a breakthrough in the developmentof multi-terminal DC transmission system and DC transmission net. Although much research has been devoted toHVDC CB, the high current breaking capability of HVDC CB is still limited at present. This paper proposes a newtype of DC circuit breaker (DCCB) which is based on superconducting current-limiting technology that can extreme-ly improve high short-circuit current interrupting ability. The DCCB consists of a superconducting current-limitingmodule and an interrupting module. This paper studies the fast-limiting characteristic of the superconductor cur-rent-limiting module, current transfer characteristic and the high-current withstand capability of superconductingtapes. Experimental results show that, this DCCB can limit current very quickly within 1 ms and can limit dozensor even one thousand kilo-ampere current to several thousand ampere due to its quick limiting characteristic. Thesuperconducting module has a wide current-limiting capability after applying magnetic field to it. The proposedDCCB are effectively combined superconducting current-limiting technology and DC interrupting technology to-gether. It can work under high DC voltage with very quick reaction. The proposed DCCB has an extremely highshort-current interrupting capability and for this reason it is a promising HVDC CB.
