ATM(AVC—based test model)测试模型实现了多视视频加深度(MVD)格式的联合编码,使得数据的压缩效率更高。然而,较高的压缩效率使得码流对传输错误非常敏感,极易产生错误扩散现象。针对ATM测试模型的编码顺序,提出一种用于MVD联合编码的错误隐藏算法。算法充分利用视点内、视点间及纹理视频与深度视频间的相关性,针对每个视点的不同特征提出了适应其视频特性的不同隐藏算法。实验表明,本文提出的算法可以在不增加算法复杂度的情况下,有效提高视频的主客观质量。
Multi-view video plus depth (MVD) is a new 3D video format that would support 3D application developed by MPEG. Such a format is a combination of texture video and associated depth maps. For 3 viewing angles, there are 6 MVD components (texture center view, texture left view, texture right view,depth center view,depth left view and depth right view) in total for every time entity. The AVC- based test model (ATM) implements the joint encoding of MVD format. And due to the functionality and validity, the ATM makes the encoding of MVD more and more effective. Therefore, this makes corn pressed bit-streams very sensitive to transmission errors and leads to error propagation easily. In order to avoid the error propagation, effective error concealment (EC) algorithms are necessary. An error con- cealment method for ATM is proposed in this paper to improve video quality at decoder when video bit stream data with transmission errors. Based on the relationships between depth map and texture map, the inter-view correlation and the intra-view correlation, this paper proposes the corresponding operations to reconstruct the lost MBs in different views. Experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the conventional concealment algorithms in terms of subjective evaluation.
