A method for computing propagation error variance of IGS precise ephemeris is given,which provides a quantitative basis for evaluating the interpolation accuracy of GPS orbit.A experiment shows that the interpolation accuracy considering the propagation error and accuracy of IGS precise ephemeris error are in the same order of magnitude.
