Fictionalism in mathematics is a typical interpretation of contemporary mathematical anti-realists, which holds mathematical entities do not exist, there is no mathematical truth, and mathematics is not indispensable for our explanation about real world and science enterprise. Through critically analyzing fictionalism in mathematics, this article concludes that the anti-realistic program of fictionalism in mathematics failed as a whole, mathematics is very important in our explanation of the world and science, mathematical entities really do not exist, and there are mathematical truths, but its nature needs further research.
