The indispensability argument tries to confirm the existence of mathematical entity by clarifying the indispensability of mathematics in science. However, the indispensability could not be equal to confirmation in experience.Whether mathematical entity exists doesn't rely on whether mathematics is indispensible in science, there are big differences between the above two.On the bases of analysis of the theoretical foundations of the indispensability argument and its solution to the dilemma of mathematical truth, this article clarifies the problems of this solution and points out that we need to explore the correlations between mathematics and science to reveal the consistent nature of reality of these two.By doing so,it is truly fair for mathematics to have the same ontological and epistemological situation with science, which is illuminated by the indispensability argument solution to the dilemma of mathematical truth.
