目的 观察轻度维生素A缺乏(MVAD)对大鼠胚胎生长的影响.方法 24只10周龄雌性Wistar大鼠,随机分为两组:MVAD组和维生素A充足组(Control).于孕前3周开始分别饲以含维生素A(VA)400IU/kg和6 500IU/kg的饲料喂养至处死.孕鼠分别于妊娠11、14、17、20孕天(days post coitum,dpc)(各3只)剖腹取出胚胎鼠,称重后处死并称取头(脑)重,用高效液相色谱法(HPLC)测定其肝脏和脑组织中VA含量.结果 (1)MVAD组胚胎鼠肝脏和脑中VA水平从17dpc开始均明显低于正常组(P<0.05).(2)MVAD组孕晚期(17、20dpc)胚胎鼠体重明显低于正常组(P<0.01);MVAD组20dpc胚胎的头重低于正常组(P<0.01),脑重无明显降低.结论 孕鼠MVAD可导致孕晚期胚胎鼠生长障碍.
Objective To investigate the effects of mild vitamin A deficiency (MVAD) on growth of rat embryos. Methods Twenty-four female Wistar rats aged 10 weeks were randomly divided into MVAD and control groups. They were fed with VA 400IU/kg and 6500IU/kg diets starting from 3 weeks before copulating respectively. Embryos were collected at 11, 14, 17 , 20dpc (days post coitum). Body and head (or brain) weights were measured, VA levels in embryonic livers and brains were determined by HPLC. Results (1) The VA levels in MVAD embryonic livers and brains significantly decreased from 17dpc compared with the control. (2) In MVAD group, embryonic body weights of 17dpc and 20dpc were significantly less than those of the control group. Compared with the control, the head weights of 20dpc embryos in MVAD group were significantly less, but the brain weights was not. Conclusion MVAD on pregnant rat can retard the growth of embryo.
