Milk-derived bioactive peptides（ MDBPs）,small peptides exist in milk,function on a variety of metabolic pathw ays and physiological process. Studies in recent years found that MDBPs could promote the intestinal absorption,slow down the intestinal oxidative stress symptoms,improve the intestinal microbial environment and enhance the intestinal immunity. This review summarized the mechanisms and the effects of MDBPs on intestinal functions of animals.
