英文摘要：

Many researches find that classical Life-Cycle Model （LCM） cannot fully explain the sharp consumption decrease after retirement of the residents. It is ealled ＂Retirement-consumption puzzle＂, which questioned the LCM and also caused widespread concern and controversy in academia. This paper reviews the foreign literature, focusing on the proposing, debate and explain for the ＂Retirement-consumption puzzle＂. The conclusions of this paper may provide a reference for the study of the consumption behavior of retired people on the background of population aging.
