We discuss the one-dimensional electro magnetic (EM) envelope solitons of ultra short intense laser pulse in partially stripped plasmas. We analyze the wave equation of an intense laser pulse propagating in partially stripped plasmas using the weakly relativistic assumption. The results show that in the broad beam limit, the striction nonlinearity and the relativistic nonlinearity cancelled each other, and the nonlinearity mainly comes from the nonlinear polarization. Finally, we obtain the nonlinear Schrodinger equation for the propagation and discuss the soliton solution.
