微小核糖核酸(microRNAs,miRNAs)是一类大小约为22个核苷酸的内源性非编码小分子RNA,通过与信使RNA(mRNA)特异性结合来调节基因表达。在血浆、血清中检测到的稳定的miRNAs,称为循环miRNAs(circulating miRNAs)。近年来,一些基础研究表明循环miRNAs可以作为心脑血管疾病的潜在生物标志物。因此,深入了解循环miRNAs与心脑血管疾病的发生发展关系,将有助于心脑血管疾病的预防及治疗。
MicroRNAs (miRNAs), a class of small noncoding and endogenous RNA molecules (containing about 22 nucleotides), can regulate the gene expression via interacting with messenger RNA (mRNA). Circulating miRNAs are stable miRNAs, which have been found in human serum and plasma. In recent years, a series of researches have indicated that circulating miRNAs may be a potential biomarker for cardiovascular and cerebrovasculari diseases (CCVD). Therefore, further studies of the association between circulating miRNAs and the development of CCVD will be helpful to prevention and therapy of these diseases.
