金融发展对国有部门与非国有部门间工资差距影响的实证研究表明.金融发展对这种工资差距存在双重影响:一方面,金融发展可以通过改变劳动力的供求关系降低这种工资差距;另一方面,由于垄断性的国有部门可以通过抽取下游非国有部门的利润来提高自己的工资水平,金融发展会强化这种利润抽取机制,进而扩大两部门间的工资差距。只要非国有部门的发展超过一定程度,金融发展的后一种影响就足以抵消前一种影响。
The authors made an empirical study on how financial development affects the wage gap between the SOEs' sector and the private sector in China. It shows that financial development has two-fold effects on the gap through promotion of the private sector. On one hand, financial development will narrow the gap with increase of labor demand; on the other hand, it will widen the gap because the monopolistic SOEs' sector will extract more profit of the developing private sector, while the financial development will amplify it. However, as long as the private sector has developed to some extent, the latter effect will exceed the former one under certain conditions.
