This article designed and implemented a management system based on remote monitoring which is oriented exclusively toward the computer-room of colleges. The system achieves the dual fingerprint-based authentication by software methods, automatic allocation of seats, and remote control of the computer＇ s power-on state; precisely timing counting and account management; the detailed records of user＇ s behaviors; the automatic shutdown fimctions of computers. Compared with the traditional management system of computer-room of colleges and universities, this system has a higher degree of intelligence and functional characteristics.
