肉碱/有机阳离子转运体(carnitine/organic cation transporters,OCTNs)是人体内介导内源性化合物和药物跨细胞转运的重要膜蛋白。由于与先前发现的有机阳离子转运体(OCTs)具有相似的特性,OCTNs也被称为新型有机阳离子转运体。近年来随着对OCTNs研究的日益剧增,其分子结构及生理功能等得到了进一步揭示,转运体的生理与病理意义也逐渐受到人们的关注。本文针对OCTNs的生理功能、OCTNs与疾病的关系、OCTNs对临床药物的转运作用和OCTNs的基因多态性等方面进行了综述。
Carnitine / organic cation transporters are important membrane proteins for the transport of endogenous compounds and xenobiotics. Since they have similar characteristics with previous discovered organic cation transporters,carnitine / organic cation transporters are also named as novel organic cation transporters( OCTNs). Researches of recent years further revealed the molecular structures and physiological functions of OCTNs. Currently,more and more attention is paid to the physiological and pathological significance of OCTNs. This paper reviewed the physiological functions of OCTNs,the relationship between OCTNs and diseases,the transport of clinically medicines by OCTNs and the impact of polymorphism of OCTNs in particular.
