从磷酸盐玻璃材料微观结构出发,建立了一种求解铒镱共掺光纤增益的新模型。定量分析了镱离子对铒离子浓度猝灭的抑制作用,通过模型计算得到泵浦光激励下,一定浓度的Er^3+/Yb^3+共掺磷酸盐玻璃光纤增益值,计算结果与实验数据符合很好。该模型为磷酸盐玻璃放大器的设计提供了数值依据。
Based on the microstructures in phosphate glass,a new model to calculate gain of erbium-ytterbium co-doped fiber has been designed. The action that Yb^3+ suppresses Er^3+ concentration quenching is quantitatively analyzed. After having been excited with pumping light, the gain of the erbium-ytterbium co-doped phosphate glass fiber has been calculated. Comparing with the test results, they are closely fit. This model provides the numerical basis for designing the phosphate glass fiber amplifier.
