Forest tenure trade becomes an efficient way to solve land fragmentation, small scale problems on forest management after the main part of collective forest tenure system reformation has been completed. That is the com- monsense of forest economics and management professions. Firstly, the inadequacies of current researches on Forest tenure trade market （FTTM） were proposed by summarizing the civil researches existed. Secondly, the probability and research goals of applying multi-agent method on FTTM simulation were discussed by describing the charac- ters and boundary of FTTM. Finally, the basic procedures to apply multi-agent method on FTTM simulation was proposed, and the emphasis and difficulty of FTTM simulation were put forward.
